About SDAPA
Learn some of the things the San Diego Chapter has to offer.
The San Diego Chapter of the American Payroll Association (SDAPA) was formed in the mid-1980s and became affiliated with the National chapter of the American Payroll Association (APA) about a decade later.
Our members hail from a wide range of large and small companies in fields as diverse as manufacturing, healthcare, payroll processing, higher education, casino gaming, the high-tech industry and recreation; all specialize in payroll, human resources or accounting.
Professional development, legislative updates, continuing education and networking opportunities are the primary goal of this non-profit organization. One of the ways we accomplish this is to feature an industry-related guest speaker who can address such important, timely topics as labor law, taxes or payroll processing at each meeting.
Members are invited to also join the National chapter of the American Payroll Association, where they can enjoy such benefits as attending the annual APA Congress, Hotline Referral Services, having representation in Washington DC and more.
Finally, while professional enrichment is our main focus, volunteerism and community outreach is a proud tradition of the SDAPA. We currently support the San Diego Food Bank.
