Mission Statement

The San Diego Chapter of the American Payroll Associations’ mission is to create opportunities for learning while providing continued professional development in the payroll profession.

Core objectives include:

Education – provide current information on local, state and federal payroll laws ensuring compliance for our members and community. 

Teamwork – to inspire, challenge, respect and support the payroll community to be their best and pay forward their payroll knowledge.  

Passion – to uphold the APA’s mission by providing education with enthusiasm while constantly striving to learn, develop and improve in all that we aspire to do.

Community – to bring the payroll professional community together with not only knowledge and education but also with fun and diverse activities to forge professional networks.

 

Vision Statement

The San Diego Chapter of the American Payroll Association is the local advocate for the advancement of payroll professionals and a bridge for connecting the payroll profession with employers, state, local and federal agencies.  Our vision is to create opportunities for our members by providing the education and resources necessary for payroll professionals to become successful leaders and strategic partners within their organizations.  Also, to bring our members together to support, work for, and assist with those in need by giving to our community with charitable activities and donations.
